Pious Hearts LLC · Effective September 7, 2026

Terms & Conditions

Please review the terms that govern use of Pious Hearts memberships, matchmaking, events, and related services.

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between Pious Hearts LLC (“Pious Hearts,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and each person who accesses our website, creates an account, purchases a service, registers for an event, or otherwise uses our services (“you” or “your”).

Pious Hearts is a private Muslim matchmaking and personal-development service serving clients in the United States and Canada. Our services may include membership matchmaking, curated introductions, consultations, events, Intentional Life Guidance, relationship and life coaching, image consulting, gift purchases, and other related offerings (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing our website, creating an account, submitting an application, making a payment, or using any Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use or purchase the Services.

1. Eligibility

To use our matchmaking Services, you must:

Be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement;
Be single, legally divorced, or widowed;
Not be married, in a polygynous marriage, or merely separated without a final legal divorce;
Use the Services sincerely for the purpose of pursuing marriage and not for casual dating, solicitation, entertainment, or any unlawful purpose;
Provide complete, current, and truthful information; and
Comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

By applying or registering, you represent that you meet these requirements. Pious Hearts may request documentation or additional information to verify eligibility and may accept, decline, suspend, or terminate an application or account in its discretion, subject to applicable law.

2. Islamic Conduct and Purpose

Pious Hearts is designed to support Muslims seeking marriage. Members are expected to communicate respectfully and conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the marriage-focused purpose of the Services. We encourage members to involve a wali, guardian, mahram, trusted family member, or other appropriate support person when they believe doing so is suitable.

Harassment, sexual or inappropriate conduct, threats, dishonesty, coercion, discrimination, abuse, exploitation, and use of the Services for casual dating are prohibited and may result in immediate removal without refund.

3. Applications, Profiles, and Accurate Information

You are responsible for ensuring that all information, photographs, preferences, and representations you provide are accurate, authentic, and current. You must promptly notify Pious Hearts of material changes, including changes to your marital status, location, contact information, family circumstances, career, education, or relationship preferences.

You may maintain only one account and may not share, sell, assign, or transfer your account or Services without our prior written approval. Impersonation, false information, misleading photographs, concealment of material facts, or misuse of another person’s information may result in rejection or termination without refund.

4. Membership Start Date and Service Participation

Your membership begins on the date your payment is successfully processed, whether or not you have completed your profile, submitted photographs, scheduled your consultation, responded to your matchmaker, reviewed a proposed match, or otherwise begun actively participating.

You are responsible for completing all required onboarding steps and remaining reasonably available and responsive. Delays caused by an incomplete profile, missing photographs, inaccurate information, lack of availability, failure to respond, or refusal to participate do not pause or extend the membership, change the billing date, or create a right to a refund or credit.

Members must respond to communications and proposed introductions within any response period communicated by Pious Hearts, including a three-day response period when applicable. We may close or withdraw an introduction when a member does not respond within the stated period.

5. Monthly Memberships and Automatic Renewal

All Pious Hearts matchmaking memberships are monthly memberships unless a particular checkout page expressly states otherwise.

By purchasing a membership, you authorize Pious Hearts and its payment processor to charge the payment method on file for the initial monthly fee and each successive monthly renewal fee, together with any applicable taxes, until you stop future renewal in accordance with Section 7.

Your membership ordinarily renews each month on or near the calendar date of your original purchase. If a renewal date does not occur in a particular month, billing may take place on the last available day of that month. All charges are in U.S. dollars unless expressly stated otherwise.

You are responsible for maintaining accurate billing information and sufficient funds. If a payment is declined, we may retry the charge, request another payment method, suspend Services, or terminate the membership. You remain responsible for unpaid amounts and any fees charged by your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

We may change membership pricing or material renewal terms upon the advance notice required by applicable law. Promotional or discounted pricing applies only for the period expressly stated and does not guarantee the same price for later renewals.

6. All Sales Final; No Refunds

All membership fees and other payments to Pious Hearts are final, non-refundable, and non-creditable to the fullest extent permitted by law. Once a payment has been processed, the current membership month or purchased Service cannot be canceled, reversed, prorated, paused, frozen, transferred, or converted into a credit.

No refund or credit will be issued because you:

Change your mind or no longer wish to participate;
Do not complete your profile, submit acceptable photographs, or schedule a consultation;
Are unavailable, travel, become busy, or fail to respond;
Decline or do not communicate with a proposed match;
Disagree with an introduction or believe a match does not satisfy every preference;
Do not receive a preferred number or frequency of introductions;
Begin a relationship, become engaged, marry, relocate, or otherwise no longer need the Services;
Are dissatisfied with another member’s decision, conduct, or lack of interest;
Stop using the website or request deletion of your account; or
Have your membership suspended or terminated because you violated these Terms.

Matchmaking requires professional time, screening, consultation, research, outreach, evaluation, communication, and administrative work that may begin immediately after payment and may not always be visible to the member. Fees compensate Pious Hearts for this ongoing professional work and access to the Services, not for a guaranteed introduction, response, relationship, engagement, or marriage.

Discretionary Exception

Pious Hearts has no obligation to approve a cancellation, refund, credit, or other payment adjustment. However, in rare and exceptional circumstances, Pious Hearts may choose, in its sole and absolute discretion, to approve an exception as a voluntary customer-service accommodation.

If Pious Hearts approves a refund or payment return, the approved amount will be reduced by a 20% administrative, processing, and transaction fee. Approval in one situation does not require Pious Hearts to approve another request, does not establish a precedent, and does not waive this policy or any other right. No employee, matchmaker, contractor, or representative may promise a refund unless the approval is confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of Pious Hearts.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable cancellation, refund, or consumer right required by applicable law.

7. Stopping Future Monthly Renewals

Although a processed payment and the current paid month cannot be canceled or refunded, you may stop future automatic renewals.

To prevent the next monthly charge, you must turn off automatic renewal through your account, if that feature is available, or submit a written non-renewal request through the contact method designated on our website. Your request must be received at least three business days before your next scheduled renewal date.

If the request is received after that deadline or after a renewal charge has been initiated or processed, the charge remains final and the membership will continue through that newly paid monthly period. The non-renewal will then take effect for the following billing cycle.

Stopping future renewal does not provide a refund for the current month, shorten or reverse the current term, erase an unpaid balance, or cancel a separately purchased service or event registration. You may continue using the membership through the end of the paid period, subject to these Terms.

Pious Hearts may provide confirmation of non-renewal. You remain responsible for reviewing your account and billing statements and notifying us promptly if you believe an error occurred.

8. Matchmaking Services and No Guarantee

Pious Hearts provides a private, human-led matchmaking process. We may consider information from our client community, professional networks, community organizations, matchmakers, events, referrals, outreach, and other lawful sources when searching for potential introductions.

Preferences help guide our work but are not guarantees or strict requirements that every proposed introduction will satisfy. Compatibility is subjective, circumstances change, and every individual retains the right to accept, decline, stop communicating, or pursue another relationship.

Pious Hearts does not guarantee:

A specific number, frequency, timing, or type of introductions unless expressly stated in the purchased plan;
That another person will accept an introduction, respond, communicate, meet, or continue contact;
Exact satisfaction of every preference;
Compatibility, attraction, exclusivity, engagement, marriage, or any other outcome; or
The truth, completeness, intentions, conduct, health, finances, legal status, or background of another person.

Any estimated timing, feedback, recommendation, or compatibility assessment is professional judgment, not a promise or warranty.

9. Screening, Background Information, and Safety

Pious Hearts may conduct identity checks, public-record searches, criminal or sex-offender registry searches, interviews, reference checks, or other screening when we consider it appropriate. Screening may be limited, unavailable, incomplete, outdated, or subject to errors. We do not guarantee that every person is screened in the same manner or that screening will identify all relevant information.

By using the Services, you represent that you are not required to register as a sex offender and have not concealed a criminal history or other information that would reasonably affect another person’s safety or decision to communicate with you. We may deny or terminate Services based on safety concerns or screening results, subject to applicable law.

You are solely responsible for your interactions and decisions. Use reasonable precautions, meet in public places, involve trusted family or friends when appropriate, protect your home address and financial information, arrange your own transportation, and independently verify information that is important to you. Immediately report suspected fraud, threats, abuse, harassment, or unsafe behavior to Pious Hearts and, when appropriate, law enforcement.

10. Member Communications and Conduct

You agree to communicate respectfully with Pious Hearts, its staff, contractors, matchmakers, and other members. You may not:

Harass, threaten, intimidate, defame, stalk, exploit, or abuse another person;
Request or send sexually explicit, pornographic, hateful, unlawful, or deceptive content;
Solicit money, investments, gifts, immigration benefits, business opportunities, or personal financial information;
Promote alcohol, illegal drugs, violence, trafficking, gambling, or unlawful activity;
Introduce malware, interfere with the website, scrape information, or access another person’s account;
Publish or share another member’s profile, photograph, contact information, messages, or confidential information without authorization; or
Use Pious Hearts information to build, market, or operate a competing database or service.

We may review or preserve communications involving our Services when reasonably necessary for safety, quality assurance, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or enforcement of these Terms, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Confidentiality and Profile Sharing

Pious Hearts maintains its own private database of clients and prospective matches. We may also expand a client’s search through a trusted matchmaking network. That network may include other professional matchmakers and Muslim matchmaking services; mosques and masjids; Muslim organizations, communities, and groups; private or appropriately selected social-media groups or channels; referral sources; community contacts; and individuals whom Pious Hearts reasonably believes may be a suitable connection or may know a suitable prospective match.

By enrolling in matchmaking and providing any additional profile-sharing authorization requested by Pious Hearts, you authorize us to use and share all or selected portions of your profile for legitimate matchmaking purposes through our own database and trusted network. Depending on what is reasonably necessary for a particular search or introduction, shared information may include your photograph, first name, age, general location, cultural or religious background, education, occupation, marital or family information, biography, preferences, and other compatibility-related details. Pious Hearts may withhold direct contact information or other identifying details until we consider disclosure appropriate.

Pious Hearts will use reasonable professional judgment and reasonable efforts to share profiles selectively and discreetly. However, matchmaking necessarily requires disclosure to people and organizations outside Pious Hearts’ direct control. Once information is shared with a prospective match, matchmaker, community contact, group administrator, referral source, or other network participant, Pious Hearts cannot guarantee that the recipient will maintain confidentiality or prevent unauthorized copying, screenshots, forwarding, reposting, publication, or other disclosure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pious Hearts is not responsible for an independent third party’s unauthorized use, retention, copying, distribution, or disclosure of profile information after Pious Hearts has shared it in good faith for a legitimate matchmaking purpose using reasonable discretion. This limitation does not excuse conduct or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Pious Hearts will not intentionally publish an identifiable member profile on a public-facing social-media page for general promotional or advertising purposes without additional express permission. We may require a separate written or electronic authorization before sharing sensitive or identifiable information through particular external channels. That authorization and our Privacy Policy are incorporated into these Terms.

You must protect all information you receive about another member or prospective match and use it only to evaluate the potential marriage introduction. You may not copy, screenshot, publish, forward, post, sell, retain for an unrelated purpose, or otherwise misuse another person’s profile, photographs, messages, contact details, or confidential information. These obligations continue after your membership ends.

12. Separately Purchased Guidance, Coaching, and Image Consulting

Coaching, Intentional Life Guidance, relationship guidance, and image-consulting Services are educational and supportive services. They are not medical care, mental-health treatment, psychotherapy, legal advice, financial advice, religious rulings, or crisis services, and they do not create a physician-patient, therapist-patient, attorney-client, fiduciary, or clergy relationship.

Intentional Life Guidance with Nawal Ali, Image Consulting, and Relationship and Life Coaching are separately available for purchase by members and nonmembers. A person does not need to hold a matchmaking membership or complete six months of membership to purchase these standalone Services, subject to availability, payment, any applicable eligibility or intake requirements, and the terms displayed at booking or checkout.

You remain responsible for your choices and results. If you need medical, mental-health, legal, financial, religious, or emergency assistance, consult an appropriately qualified professional. One-time sessions, packages, missed appointments, and rescheduling are also subject to any terms disclosed on the applicable service or checkout page. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, payments for these Services are final and non-refundable.

12.1 Signature Matchmaking Package: Included Annual Benefits

The Signature matchmaking package may include the following benefits during each qualifying continuous 12-month Signature membership period:

One Annual Founder-Led Coaching Session: Intentional Life Guidance with Nawal Ali; and
One Annual Image Consulting Session.

These benefits are included only as part of the Signature matchmaking package then described at checkout. They are different from, and do not restrict access to, the separately purchased Services described above.

To qualify for the included annual benefits, a member must:

Maintain an active, paid Signature matchmaking membership in good standing for at least six consecutive months;
Remain on the Signature package, without a downgrade, cancellation, non-renewal, lapse, suspension, chargeback, or unpaid balance, when the benefit is scheduled and when it is provided; and
Schedule and complete the included sessions before the end of the applicable continuous 12-month Signature membership period.

The included annual benefits become available after the member completes six consecutive paid months on the Signature package. They may be used once during that qualifying 12-month Signature membership period and must be scheduled sufficiently in advance to allow completion before that period ends. Scheduling is subject to the reasonable availability of Nawal Ali and the applicable image consultant.

If the Signature membership is interrupted, canceled, not renewed, downgraded, suspended, disputed, or becomes unpaid before the six-month qualification requirement is completed or before an included session is provided, any unused benefit is forfeited. Earlier months from separate membership periods, another package, or a later restarted membership may not be combined unless Pious Hearts expressly approves an exception in writing.

Included annual benefits have no cash value, are non-refundable, non-transferable, may not be exchanged for another Service, and do not roll over beyond the applicable 12-month Signature membership period. Failure to request, schedule, attend, or complete a session within that period does not create a refund, credit, membership extension, replacement session, or other compensation.

After a member completes a continuous 12-month Signature membership period, a new set of annual benefits may become available during a later continuous 12-month Signature period only if those benefits remain included in the package at that time. Pious Hearts may prospectively modify the scope, format, professional assigned, availability, or other terms of future annual benefits, subject to applicable law and any required notice. Benefits already earned within a current paid period will be administered under the terms applicable to that period.

13. Events

Event admission is subject to eligibility requirements, capacity, venue rules, codes of conduct, and any event-specific terms. Registration does not guarantee admission if eligibility cannot be verified or if you violate event rules.

Event purchases are final and non-refundable unless Pious Hearts expressly states otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise. Pious Hearts may change a venue, schedule, format, speaker, activity, or other event detail when reasonably necessary. If Pious Hearts cancels an event entirely, we may provide a refund, credit, or transfer as described in the event notice and as required by law.

Attendees participate at their own risk and remain responsible for their conduct, belongings, transportation, health, safety, and interactions with others.

14. Gifts and Purchases for Others

Gift purchases are subject to these Terms and any conditions shown at checkout. The purchaser is responsible for providing accurate recipient information. A gift does not guarantee that the recipient will qualify for, accept, or use a Service. Matchmaking recipients must independently satisfy all eligibility requirements and agree to these Terms before participating.

Gift purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law or where Pious Hearts approves a discretionary exception under Section 6. Gifts may not be redeemed for cash, resold, or transferred without our written approval.

15. Electronic Communications

You consent to receive service-related communications electronically, including by email, telephone, text message, account notification, or video platform. These may include billing notices, renewal information, appointment communications, matchmaker outreach, introductions, safety notices, and changes to the Services or Terms.

Promotional communications are subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from sending non-promotional communications necessary to administer your account or Services.

16. Intellectual Property

The website, brand, logo, text, graphics, forms, questionnaires, processes, training materials, service descriptions, and other Pious Hearts content are owned by or licensed to Pious Hearts and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to use the Services for their intended purpose.

You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, modify, scrape, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Pious Hearts content or processes without prior written permission.

17. Third-Party Services and Links

We may use or link to third-party payment processors, video platforms, communication tools, venues, websites, or other providers. Pious Hearts does not control and is not responsible for third-party availability, security, content, policies, fees, or conduct. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

18. Suspension and Termination by Pious Hearts

Pious Hearts may reject an application or suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Services when we reasonably believe that you:

Violated these Terms or an event or community rule;
Provided false, incomplete, misleading, or outdated information;
Failed to pay an amount due;
Created a safety, legal, reputational, or operational risk;
Misused confidential information;
Acted abusively or inappropriately toward another person; or
Used the Services inconsistently with their marriage-focused purpose.

When access is suspended or terminated because of your conduct, no refund or credit will be issued to the fullest extent permitted by law. Termination does not eliminate payment obligations, confidentiality duties, intellectual-property restrictions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification obligations, or other provisions that by their nature should survive.

19. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Pious Hearts disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, compatibility, and results.

We do not warrant that the website or Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components, or that information supplied by any member or third party is accurate or complete.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pious Hearts and its owners, officers, employees, matchmakers, contractors, representatives, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages; emotional distress; lost profits; lost opportunities; loss of data; reputational harm; or damages arising from communications, meetings, relationships, conduct, or disputes involving members or third parties.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pious Hearts’ total aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid directly to Pious Hearts for the specific Service giving rise to the claim during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to liability.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

21. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pious Hearts and its owners, officers, employees, matchmakers, contractors, representatives, affiliates, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and reasonable costs, including attorneys’ fees, arising from or relating to your misuse of the Services, your content or communications, your interactions with others, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

22. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising from or relating to Pious Hearts, the website, a membership, an introduction, an event, or another Service will be governed by applicable law and, to the fullest extent permitted, the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pious Hearts maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before starting a formal legal proceeding, you agree to provide written notice of the dispute to info@pioushearts.com and allow Pious Hearts a reasonable opportunity to address it in good faith. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, any court proceeding must, to the fullest extent permitted by law, be brought in a court serving the jurisdiction in which Pious Hearts maintains its principal place of business.

Nothing in this section limits any consumer right, remedy, jurisdiction, or legal protection that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted.

23. Changes to the Services or Terms

We may update the Services and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the website and communicated as required by law. The updated effective date will appear at the top of the Terms. Your continued use of the Services after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where additional consent is legally required.

24. General Provisions

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the applicable checkout disclosures, and any service-specific written terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Pious Hearts regarding the Services.

If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain effective. Pious Hearts’ failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our prior written consent. Pious Hearts may assign these Terms as part of a merger, reorganization, sale, transfer, or other business transaction.

Headings are for convenience only. The words “including” and “includes” mean “including without limitation.” Electronic acceptance and records have the same force as originals to the extent permitted by law.
