For Parents & Families

Support their journey with care, trust, and respect.

Parents and loved ones often play a meaningful role in the path to marriage. At Pious Hearts, that support is welcomed while the person seeking marriage always leads their own journey.

Our guiding principle

“Parents can help guide the way, but the matchmaking journey belongs to the single person.”

Private, personal, and always centered on consent.

A Respectful Partnership

How families can help, and who leads.

The most supportive role is one that offers encouragement without taking over. We keep expectations clear from the beginning.

For Parents & Loved Ones

You can support the beginning.

  • Share Pious Hearts and explain why it feels aligned
  • Talk openly about hopes, concerns, and family values
  • Gift a service or membership if they are interested
  • Join conversations when the client invites you
  • Offer encouragement without pressure

For the Person Seeking Marriage

You lead your own journey.

  • Create and manage your own account
  • Complete your profile in your own words
  • Share your preferences, values, and goals directly
  • Communicate with your matchmaker or service provider
  • Choose whether and how family members participate

Privacy follows the client.

We do not create or manage a profile for someone else, and we do not discuss a client’s private information with family members unless that client has given clear permission.

A Simple Path Forward

Three thoughtful steps.

01

Share the opportunity

Send them the website, a service page, or the readiness reflection and give them space to explore.

02

They register personally

The single adult creates their account, completes their profile, and communicates with our team.

03

They set the boundaries

They decide if a parent or loved one should be included and what that involvement looks like.

Questions Families Ask

Clear answers before the first step.

We understand that every family approaches marriage differently. These guidelines protect privacy while leaving room for meaningful support.

No. The adult seeking marriage must create their own account, complete their own profile, and communicate directly with Pious Hearts. You are welcome to share the service and encourage them to explore it.

Only when the client has clearly asked for your involvement and given permission. The matchmaker will follow the boundaries agreed upon with the client.

You may offer encouragement or help them think through questions, but their answers and submission must come from them. Their profile should reflect their own voice, preferences, and marriage goals.

Yes. You may purchase a Pious Hearts service through our Give a Gift page. The recipient still chooses whether to participate, completes their own registration, and leads their own journey.

Share the information without pressure. They can explore the Marriage Readiness Reflection privately, review our services, or contact our team with questions before deciding.

No. Every client decides whether, when, and how family members are involved. We respect both family values and the privacy and agency of the person seeking marriage.
